Nach einer kleinen Mittagspause ging es weiter zu einer weiteren Ausstellung: dem Color Festival Manchester*. In einem leeren Supermarkt gab es dort Street Art von über 30 Künstlern zu sehen, die alle auf ihre Art beeindruckend waren.
* Warum die die US Rechtschreibung von ‘colour’ nutzen ist mir unklar. Ich weiß allerdings dank eiern Freundin aus Paris, dass die Ausstellung in der Vergangenheit dort stattfand. Sie hatte mir netterweise den Link dazu geschickt als sie sah, dass sie dieses Jahr in Manchester und London stattfindet.

After a lunch break, we went to another exhibition: the Color Festival Manchester*. Street Art from over 30 artists is shown in an empty supermarket, all impressive in their own way.
* I am not sure why they use the US-English spelling of ‘colour’. Thanks to a friend living in Paris, I know this took place there in the past. She sent me the link when she saw that it takes place in Manchester und London, and I am so glad she did!

Der Schwarzlichtbereich gefiel uns besonders gut. Besucher konnten sogar ihre eigenen Kunstwerke beisteuern. In dem Bereich befand sich auch das Gemälde, das uns beide am besten gefiel:
